Agreements and Conditions of Entry

By submitting your film or video to Kentucky Short Film & Video Showcase you are consenting to allow your film
to be publicly screened over the course of a single evening at 21c Museum Hotel (or the rooftop of its garage)
in front of an audience. By submitting your film, you represent that your film is your own original work and you
agree that your film will not infringe the copyright or any other rights of any third party and you agree to indemnify
Louisville Film Society and 21c Museum Hotels LLC and its affiliates against all legal fees, damages and other
expenses that may be incurred as a result of your infringement of any copyrights held by other parties. (This
includes any music, artwork, or additional footage included in your film). In addition, your film must not contain
any defamatory, obscene, unlawful or objectionable content in accordance with applicable laws. Kentucky Short
Film & Video Showcase showcases work in all genres and visual forms, including narrative, documentary,
animation, music videos, commercial experimental and performance oriented work. Entries may be shot or
created in any format: film, video, stop motion, computer animation, etc. We are seeking original creative content
to showcase upcoming talent in filmmaking and visual design. Selection of your submission does not guarantee
the procurement of any contract, present or future paid or unpaid work. Applicants are not compensated in any
manner, whether or not their films are selected for the Kentucky Short Film & Video Showcase. DVDs submitted
for the Showcase will not be returned to Applicants. Applicants may not reapply with the same film however are
encouraged to submit as many different films as they like. $10 Fee must be submitted with application for each
entry, with exception to LFS film professional members.
