Americans’ right to access fresh, healthy foods of their choice is under attack. Farmageddon tells the story of small family farms that were providing safe, healthy foods to their communities and were forced to stop, sometimes through violent action, by agents of misguided government bureaucracies, and seeks to figure out why. These fine folks from Chicago (and originally Pittsburgh) will be Louisville for one night only, sharing their unique take on found footage and soundtracks with a special audience, YOU!
$10 or $7 for LFS members.
Jesse McLean is an award-winning filmmaker and video artist. Her work has screened at various festivals including Chicago Underground Festival, Black Maria Film and Video Festival, Rooftop Films Summer Series, and Venice Film Festival. Thad Kellstadt is a poet, painter, musician, video and sound artist. His work has appeared at LUMP Gallery in North Carolina, Alice Gallery Art Brussels, and The Mattress Factory in Pennsylvania. This will be their first visit to Louisville.
